Dr Batlivala has BE from BITS Pilani, India and a MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kansas, USA and has completed a 2 year Executive Business Management Program from Chicago, USA. The research conducted during his PhD and early years at Motorola resulted in over 40 publications and 4 patents. He is a member of IEEE, Eta Kappa Nu and Sigma Xi. Percy is a guest lecturer at MICA and enjoys writing guest editorials.

Dr Batlivala is the Founding Trustee of the BITS69 Educational Trust, which helps uplift the quality of lives of rural women and female children by providing them education and vocational training.
