IIRT's first location is in the heart of a retail center in South Ex, New Delhi. The choice of this location is to ensure that the student will have proximate access to retail outlets and retailers. A large part of the education of the students will be centered on projects that will require the student to visit and study the various retail verticals.
The institute is equipped with the most modern equipment including wireless internet access, LCD projectors in each class and videotape equipment to be used during skill enhancement sessions. The school is also equipped with a mock retail outlet, which is used for sales and merchandising training.
